The Leadership Training Institute develops and delivers an innovative combination of evidence-based and practice- based trainings that build individual competencies and technical expertise among staff who work in the HIV/AIDS landscape and other health disparities; strengthen organizational capacities; and enable supportive structural environments that are critical to the foundation and operation of HIV prevention programs and services and an improved quality of life for the most marginalized groups.

The Leadership Institute provides evidence-based, culturally competent, linguistically and educationally appropriate trainings and technical assistance around community mobilization, policy, prevention, education, and structural interventions, to name a few, all aimed at ensuring that HIV prevention and treatment services organizations and their staff are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills to improve the delivery of HIV prevention, testing, linkage to and retention in HIV medical care; improve linkage to essential social support services for PWH and HIV-negative persons who are at the greatest risk of becoming infected; and enhance the health and quality of life of PWH.
