More about Community Mental Health Project
Community Mental Health Project is a community-informed collaboration between The New York Public Library. Columbia University Department of Psychiatry, and Black Health. to raise community awareness around mental health and highlight resources with a specific focus on Black and Latinx/a/o New Yorkers.
Community Mental Health Project creates opportunities for people to learn and gain mental health resources through animated videos, books, and programs, in English and Spanish. The 10 short animations give voice to topics surfaced by teens, adults, and seniors in community roundtables. View our Mental Health and Wellness video below. Find more videos at Community Mental Health Project and share them with your friends and family! Together, we can normalize discussion around mental health.
This program was made possible through support from the Leon Levy Foundation.
